The aim of this project is to make a small range of stylish womens clothes in larger sizes with a vintage twist. There are lots of ranges available these days for fuller figures, many of which are still surprisingly dull and frumpy or the classic "have the decency to hide your body!" tent-like monstrosities. It seems that the usual approach to designing clothes for bigger sizes has been to use the body shape of a size 10 woman as the ideal and scale up. I have used the full figured woman's body as the ideal and designed clothes for her- rather than try to 'give the illusion of slimness', or try to hide her under swathes of cloth. why should you hide yourself?
